શાઉલ ત્યાં ગયો, પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો કાઢી નાખ્યાં અને શમુએલની સામે પ્રબોધ કર્યો. એ ત્યાં આખો દિવસ અને રાત નવસ્ત્રો જ પડી રહ્યો.આથી લોકો કહેવા લાગ્યાં, “શાઉલ પણ પ્રબોધક થઈ ગયો કે શું?”
