અરામીઓ ફરીથી ઇસ્રાએલીઓ આગળથી નાસવા લાગ્યા. દાઉદે અરામના 7,000 સૈનિકો અને 40,000 બીજા સૈનિકોને મારી નાખ્યા. અરામના સૈન્યના સેનાપતિ શોફાખને પણ તેણે મારી નાખ્યો.
