בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ the ba-HOH-DESH הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י eighth ha-sheh-mee-NEE בִּשְׁנַ֥ת month, beesh-NAHT שְׁתַּ֖יִם in sheh-TA-yeem לְדָרְיָ֑וֶשׁ the leh-dore-YA-vesh הָיָ֣ה second ha-YA דְבַר year deh-VAHR יְהוָ֗ה of yeh-VA אֶל Darius, el זְכַרְיָה֙ came zeh-hahr-YA בֶּן the ben בֶּ֣רֶכְיָ֔ה word BEH-rek-YA בֶּן of ben עִדּ֥וֹ the EE-doh הַנָּבִ֖יא Lord ha-na-VEE לֵאמֹֽר׃ unto lay-MORE -
קָצַ֧ף Lord ka-TSAHF יְהוָ֛ה hath yeh-VA עַל been al אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם sore uh-voh-tay-HEM קָֽצֶף׃ displeased KA-tsef -
וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ say veh-ah-mahr-TA אֲלֵהֶ֗ם thou uh-lay-HEM כֹּ֤ה unto koh אָמַר֙ them, ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Thus yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת saith tseh-va-OTE שׁ֣וּבוּ the SHOO-voo אֵלַ֔י Lord ay-LAI נְאֻ֖ם of neh-OOM יְהוָ֣ה hosts; yeh-VA צְבָא֑וֹת Turn tseh-va-OTE וְאָשׁ֣וּב ye veh-ah-SHOOV אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם unto uh-lay-HEM אָמַ֖ר me, ah-MAHR יְהוָ֥ה saith yeh-VA צְבָאֽוֹת׃ the tseh-va-OTE -
אַל ye al תִּהְי֣וּ not tee-YOO כַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֡ם as ha-uh-voh-tay-HEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר your uh-SHER קָרְאֽוּ fathers, kore-OO אֲלֵיהֶם֩ unto uh-lay-HEM הַנְּבִיאִ֨ים whom ha-neh-vee-EEM הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֜ים the ha-ree-shoh-NEEM לֵאמֹ֗ר former lay-MORE כֹּ֤ה prophets koh אָמַר֙ have ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה cried, yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת saying, tseh-va-OTE שׁ֤וּבוּ Thus SHOO-voo נָא֙ saith na מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֣ם the mee-dahr-hay-HEM הָרָעִ֔ים Lord ha-ra-EEM וּמַֽעַלְילֵיכֶ֖ם of oo-ma-al-y-lay-HEM הָֽרָעִ֑ים hosts; ha-ra-EEM וְלֹ֥א Turn veh-LOH שָׁמְע֛וּ ye shome-OO וְלֹֽא now veh-LOH הִקְשִׁ֥יבוּ from heek-SHEE-voo אֵלַ֖י your ay-LAI נְאֻם evil neh-OOM יְהוָֽה׃ ways, yeh-VA -
אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם fathers, uh-voh-tay-HEM אַיֵּה where ah-YAY הֵ֑ם are hame וְהַ֨נְּבִאִ֔ים they? veh-HA-neh-vee-EEM הַלְעוֹלָ֖ם and hahl-oh-LAHM יִֽחְיֽוּ׃ the YEE-heh-YOO -
אַ֣ךְ׀ my ak דְּבָרַ֣י words deh-va-RAI וְחֻקַּ֗י and veh-hoo-KAI אֲשֶׁ֤ר my uh-SHER צִוִּ֙יתִי֙ statutes, tsee-WEE-TEE אֶת which et עֲבָדַ֣י I uh-va-DAI הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים commanded ha-neh-vee-EEM הֲל֥וֹא huh-LOH הִשִּׂ֖יגוּ my hee-SEE-ɡoo אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֑ם servants uh-voh-tay-HEM וַיָּשׁ֣וּבוּ the va-ya-SHOO-voo וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ prophets, va-yoh-meh-ROO כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר did ka-uh-SHER זָמַ֜ם they za-MAHM יְהוָ֤ה not yeh-VA צְבָאוֹת֙ take tseh-va-OTE לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת hold la-uh-SOTE לָ֔נוּ of LA-noo כִּדְרָכֵ֙ינוּ֙ your keed-ra-HAY-NOO וּכְמַ֣עֲלָלֵ֔ינוּ fathers? oo-heh-MA-uh-la-LAY-noo כֵּ֖ן and kane עָשָׂ֥ה they ah-SA אִתָּֽנוּ׃ returned ee-ta-NOO -
בְּיוֹם֩ the beh-YOME עֶשְׂרִ֨ים four es-REEM וְאַרְבָּעָ֜ה and veh-ar-ba-AH לְעַשְׁתֵּֽי twentieth leh-ash-TAY עָשָׂ֥ר day ah-SAHR חֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ of HOH-DESH הוּא the hoo חֹ֣דֶשׁ eleventh HOH-desh שְׁבָ֔ט sheh-VAHT בִּשְׁנַ֥ת month, beesh-NAHT שְׁתַּ֖יִם which sheh-TA-yeem לְדָרְיָ֑וֶשׁ is leh-dore-YA-vesh הָיָ֣ה the ha-YA דְבַר month deh-VAHR יְהוָ֗ה Sebat, yeh-VA אֶל in el זְכַרְיָה֙ the zeh-hahr-YA בֶּן second ben בֶּ֣רֶכְיָ֔הוּ year BEH-rek-YA-hoo בֶּן of ben עִדּ֥וֹא Darius, EE-doh הַנָּבִ֖יא came ha-na-VEE לֵאמֹֽר׃ the lay-MORE -
רָאִ֣יתִי׀ saw ra-EE-tee הַלַּ֗יְלָה by ha-LA-la וְהִנֵּה night, veh-hee-NAY אִישׁ֙ and eesh רֹכֵב֙ behold roh-HAVE עַל a al ס֣וּס man soos אָדֹ֔ם riding ah-DOME וְה֣וּא upon veh-HOO עֹמֵ֔ד a oh-MADE בֵּ֥ין red bane הַהֲדַסִּ֖ים horse, ha-huh-da-SEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר and uh-SHER בַּמְּצֻלָ֑ה he ba-meh-tsoo-LA וְאַחֲרָיו֙ stood veh-ah-huh-rav סוּסִ֣ים among soo-SEEM אֲדֻמִּ֔ים the uh-doo-MEEM שְׂרֻקִּ֖ים myrtle seh-roo-KEEM וּלְבָנִֽים׃ trees oo-leh-va-NEEM -
וָאֹמַ֖ר said va-oh-MAHR מָה I, ma אֵ֣לֶּה O A-leh אֲדֹנִ֑י my uh-doh-NEE וַיֹּ֣אמֶר lord, va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֗י what ay-LAI הַמַּלְאָךְ֙ are ha-mahl-oke הַדֹּבֵ֣ר these? ha-doh-VARE בִּ֔י And bee אֲנִ֥י the uh-NEE אַרְאֶ֖ךָּ angel ar-EH-ka מָה that ma הֵ֥מָּה talked HAY-ma אֵֽלֶּה׃ with A-leh -
וַיַּ֗עַן the va-YA-an הָאִ֛ישׁ man ha-EESH הָעֹמֵ֥ד that ha-oh-MADE בֵּין stood bane הַהֲדַסִּ֖ים among ha-huh-da-SEEM וַיֹּאמַ֑ר the va-yoh-MAHR אֵ֚לֶּה myrtle A-leh אֲשֶׁ֣ר trees uh-SHER שָׁלַ֣ח answered sha-LAHK יְהוָ֔ה and yeh-VA לְהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ said, leh-heet-ha-LAKE בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ These ba-AH-rets -
וַֽיַּעֲנ֞וּ they va-ya-uh-NOO אֶת answered et מַלְאַ֣ךְ mahl-AK יְהוָ֗ה the yeh-VA הָֽעֹמֵד֙ angel ha-oh-MADE בֵּ֣ין of bane הַהֲדַסִּ֔ים the ha-huh-da-SEEM וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ Lord va-yoh-meh-ROO הִתְהַלַּ֣כְנוּ that heet-ha-LAHK-noo בָאָ֑רֶץ stood va-AH-rets וְהִנֵּ֥ה among veh-hee-NAY כָל the hahl הָאָ֖רֶץ myrtle ha-AH-rets יֹשֶׁ֥בֶת trees, yoh-SHEH-vet וְשֹׁקָֽטֶת׃ and veh-shoh-KA-tet -
וַיַּ֣עַן the va-YA-an מַלְאַךְ angel mahl-AK יְהוָה֮ of yeh-VA וַיֹּאמַר֒ the va-yoh-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת answered tseh-va-OTE עַד and ad מָתַ֗י said, ma-TAI אַתָּה֙ O ah-TA לֹֽא Lord loh תְרַחֵ֣ם of teh-ra-HAME אֶת hosts, et יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם how yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM וְאֵ֖ת long veh-ATE עָרֵ֣י ah-RAY יְהוּדָ֑ה wilt yeh-hoo-DA אֲשֶׁ֣ר thou uh-SHER זָעַ֔מְתָּה not za-AM-ta זֶ֖ה have zeh שִׁבְעִ֥ים mercy sheev-EEM שָׁנָֽה׃ on sha-NA -
וַיַּ֣עַן the va-YA-an יְהוָ֗ה Lord yeh-VA אֶת answered et הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ ha-mahl-AK הַדֹּבֵ֥ר the ha-doh-VARE בִּ֖י angel bee דְּבָרִ֣ים that deh-va-REEM טוֹבִ֑ים talked toh-VEEM דְּבָרִ֖ים with deh-va-REEM נִחֻמִֽים׃ me nee-hoo-MEEM -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר the va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֗י angel ay-LAI הַמַּלְאָךְ֙ that ha-mahl-oke הַדֹּבֵ֣ר communed ha-doh-VARE בִּ֔י with bee קְרָ֣א me keh-RA לֵאמֹ֔ר said lay-MORE כֹּ֥ה unto koh אָמַ֖ר me, ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Cry yeh-VA צְבָא֑וֹת thou, tseh-va-OTE קִנֵּ֧אתִי saying, kee-NAY-tee לִירוּשָׁלִַ֛ם Thus lee-roo-sha-la-EEM וּלְצִיּ֖וֹן saith oo-leh-TSEE-yone קִנְאָ֥ה the keen-AH גְדוֹלָֽה׃ Lord ɡeh-doh-LA -
וְקֶ֤צֶף I veh-KEH-tsef גָּדוֹל֙ am ɡa-DOLE אֲנִ֣י very uh-NEE קֹצֵ֔ף sore koh-TSAFE עַל displeased al הַגּוֹיִ֖ם with ha-ɡoh-YEEM הַשַּֽׁאֲנַנִּ֑ים the ha-sha-uh-na-NEEM אֲשֶׁ֤ר heathen uh-SHER אֲנִי֙ that uh-NEE קָצַ֣פְתִּי are ka-TSAHF-tee מְּעָ֔ט at meh-AT וְהֵ֖מָּה ease: veh-HAY-ma עָזְר֥וּ for oze-ROO לְרָעָֽה׃ I leh-ra-AH -
לָכֵ֞ן thus la-HANE כֹּֽה saith koh אָמַ֣ר the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֗ה Lord; yeh-VA שַׁ֤בְתִּי I SHAHV-tee לִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ am lee-roo-sha-la-EEM בְּֽרַחֲמִ֔ים returned beh-ra-huh-MEEM בֵּיתִי֙ to bay-TEE יִבָּ֣נֶה Jerusalem yee-BA-neh בָּ֔הּ with ba נְאֻ֖ם mercies: neh-OOM יְהוָ֣ה my yeh-VA צְבָא֑וֹת house tseh-va-OTE וְקָ֥וה shall veh-KAHV יִנָּטֶ֖ה be yee-na-TEH עַל built al יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in yeh-roo-sha-loh-EEM -
ע֣וֹד׀ yet, ode קְרָ֣א saying, keh-RA לֵאמֹ֗ר Thus lay-MORE כֹּ֤ה saith koh אָמַר֙ the ah-MAHR יְהוָ֣ה Lord yeh-VA צְבָא֔וֹת of tseh-va-OTE ע֛וֹד hosts; ode תְּפוּצֶ֥נָה My teh-foo-TSEH-na עָרַ֖י cities ah-RAI מִטּ֑וֹב through MEE-tove וְנִחַ֨ם prosperity veh-nee-HAHM יְהוָ֥ה shall yeh-VA עוֹד֙ yet ode אֶת be et צִיּ֔וֹן spread TSEE-yone וּבָחַ֥ר abroad; oo-va-HAHR ע֖וֹד and ode בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ the bee-roo-sha-loh-EEM -
וָאֶשָּׂ֥א lifted va-eh-SA אֶת I et עֵינַ֖י up ay-NAI וָאֵ֑רֶא va-A-reh וְהִנֵּ֖ה mine veh-hee-NAY אַרְבַּ֥ע eyes, ar-BA קְרָנֽוֹת׃ and keh-ra-NOTE -
וָאֹמַ֗ר I va-oh-MAHR אֶל said el הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ unto ha-mahl-AK הַדֹּבֵ֥ר the ha-doh-VARE בִּ֖י angel bee מָה that ma אֵ֑לֶּה talked A-leh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר with va-YOH-mer אֵלַ֔י me, ay-LAI אֵ֤לֶּה What A-leh הַקְּרָנוֹת֙ be ha-keh-ra-NOTE אֲשֶׁ֣ר these? uh-SHER זֵר֣וּ And zay-ROO אֶת he et יְהוּדָ֔ה answered yeh-hoo-DA אֶת et יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל me, yees-ra-ALE וִירוּשָׁלָֽם׃ These vee-roo-sha-LAHM -
וַיַּרְאֵ֣נִי the va-yahr-A-nee יְהוָ֔ה Lord yeh-VA אַרְבָּעָ֖ה shewed ar-ba-AH חָרָשִֽׁים׃ me ha-ra-SHEEM -
