তিনি বহু দাস দাসীদের নিয়ে জেরুশালেমে উপস্থিত হলেন| তিনি অজস্র উটে করে নানাধরণের মশলাপাতি, অলঙ্কার ও সোনা নিয়ে এলেন এবং শলোমনের সঙ্গে দেখা করলেন| তারপর শলোমনকে সম্ভাব্য বহুবিধ কঠিন প্রশ্ন করলেন|

হিষ্কিয় বাবিলের এই ব্যক্তিদের স্বাগত জানিয়ে তাঁদের রাজপ্রাসাদের ও তাঁর রাজত্বের সোনা, রূপো, মশলাপাতি, দুর্মূল্য আতর, অস্ত্রশস্ত্র ও রাজকোষের যা কিছু সম্ভার, তা দেখিয়েছিলেন| সারা রাজ্যে এমন কিছু ছিল না যা হিষ্কিয় তাদের দেখান নি|

নামান তখন তাঁর রথ ও ঘোড়া নিয়ে ইলীশায়ের বাড়ির বাইরে এসে দাঁড়ালেন|

তখন অরামের রাজা বললেন, “ঠিক আছে, তুমি এখনই যাও| আমি ইস্রায়েলের রাজাকে একটা চিঠি দিচ্ছি|”নামান তখন 750 পাউণ্ড রূপো, 6,000 টুকরো সোনা আর দশ প্রস্থ পোশাক উপহার স্বরূপ নিলেন এবং ইস্রায়েলে গেলেন|

এরপর শিবার রাণী রাজা শলোমনকে প্রায় 9,000 পাউণ্ড সোনা, বহু মশলাপাতি ও অলঙ্কার উপহার দিলেন| তিনি রাজাকে য়ে পরিমাণ মশলাপাতি দিয়েছিলেন তার পরিমাণ এতদিন পর্য়ন্ত ইস্রায়েলে য়ে মশলাপাতি প্রবেশ করেছিল তার চেয়েও বেশী|
