Acts 17:7
আর যাসোন কিনা তাদের নিজের বাড়িতে আশ্রয় দিয়েছে৷ এরা সকলে কৈসরের আইনের বিরোধিতা করে, এরা বলে বেড়াচ্ছে য়ে যীশু বলে আর একজন রাজা আছে৷’

তখন ঐ লোকরা বলল, “দানিয়েল নামক ওই ব্যক্তিটি আপনাকে অথবা য়ে আদেশ পত্রে আপনি স্বাক্ষর করেছেন, তাকে কোন গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছে না| দানিয়েল যিহূদা থেকে আনা বন্দীদের একজন এবং সে আপনার আদেশ মানছে না| সে এখনও রোজ তিন বার করে ঈশ্বরের কাছে প্রার্থনা করছে|”

পৌল আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থন করে বললেন, ‘আমি ইহুদীদের বিধি-ব্যবস্থা বা মন্দির কিংবা কৈসরের বিরুদ্ধে কোন অপরাধ করি নি৷’
