শিবিরে মোশি, যাজক ইলিয়াসর এবং ইস্রায়েলের অন্যান্য সমস্ত লোকের কাছে এল| ম্পস্রাযেলের লোকরা এইসময় মোয়াবের য়র্দনের উপত্যকায শিবির স্থাপন করেছিল| এটি ছিল যিরীহোর অপর পারে যর্দন নদীর পূর্বদিকে|

কিন্তু আগুনে দেওয়া যাবে এমন দ্রব্যসামগ্রীর সম্পর্কে নিয়ম আলাদা| তোমরা অবশ্যই সোনা, রূপো, পিতল, লোহা, টিন অথবা সীসা আগুনের মধ্যে দিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে এবং তারপর ঐ জিনিসগুলোকে জল দিয়ে পরিষ্কার করবে তাহলে সেগুলো পবিত্র হবে|

পরদিন খুব ভোরে শমূয়েল শৌলের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেল| কিন্তু লোকরা শমূয়েলকে বলল, “শৌল যিহূদার কর্মিল শহরে চলে গেছেন| সেখানে তিনি নিজের সম্মান বাড়াতে একটা পাথরের মূর্ত্তি তৈরী করেছেন| তিনি এখন নানা জায়গায় ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছেন| সবশেষে তিনি গিল্গলে যাবেন|”তাদের কথা শুনে শমূয়েল শৌল যেখানে ছিলেন সেখানে গেল| তখন শৌল সবে অমালেকীয়দের কাছ থেকে নেওয়া জিনিসগুলোর প্রথম অংশ প্রভুকে নিবেদন করেছিল| এগুলো সবই শৌল হোমবলি রূপে প্রভুকে উত্সর্গ করেছিল|

বিষোর স্রোতের ধারে যে 200 জন থেকে গিয়েছিল তাদের কাছে দায়ূদ এলেন| এরা খুব ক্লান্ত আর দুর্বল বলে দাযূদের সঙ্গে যেতে পারে নি| তারা দায়ূদ ও তাঁর সঙ্গীদের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে এল| তারা কাছে আসতেই বিষোর স্রোতের ধারের লোকরা অভিবাদন জানাল|
