কেন? কারণ প্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঐ সমস্ত লোকদের বিষয়ে বলেছিলেন যে, তারা সকলেই মরুভূমিতে মারা যাবে| কেবল দুজন ব্যক্তি বেঁচে ছিলেন| তারা হলেন যিফুন্নির পুত্র কালেব এবং নূনের পুত্র যিহোশূয়|
