চাষীরা তখন নিজেদের মধ্যে বলাবলি করল, ‘এই তো মালিকের ছেলে, ওর বাবা মরলে ক্ষেতের মালিক তো ওই হবে, এস! একে মেরে ফেল, তাহলে আমরা ক্ষেতের মালিক হব৷
