সেই শহরের অনেক শমরীয় তাঁর ওপর বিশ্বাস করল, কারণ সেই স্ত্রীলোকটি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছিল, ‘আমি যা যা করেছি সবই তিনি আমাকে বলে দিয়েছেন৷’
