তখন শিমোন পিতরের কাছে একটা তরোয়াল থাকায় তিনি সেটা টেনে বের করে মহাযাজকের চাকরকে আঘাত করে তার ডান কান কেটে ফেললেন৷ সেই চাকরের নাম মল্ক৷
