য়োশিয পর্বতের আশেপাশে তাকিযে অনেক কবরখানা দেখতে পেলেন| লোক পাঠিয়ে সেখান থেকে মৃত মানুষের হাড় তুলিযে এনে, য়োশিয সেই সমস্ত হাড় য়জ্ঞবেদীতে পুড়িয়ে, য়জ্ঞবেদী অশুচি করে দেন| ভাব্বাদীদের মুখ দিয়ে প্রভু, যারবিয়াম যখন সেই বেদীর পাশে গিয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, তখনই এই সব ভবিষ্যত্‌বাণী করিযেছিলেন|য়োশিয চারপাশে তাকিযে সেই ভাব্বাদীদের সমাধিস্থল দেখতে পেলেন|

2 Kings 23:20
য়োশিয শমরিয়ার উচ্চস্থানের সমস্ত যাজকদেরই হত্যা করলেন| তিনি বেদীর ওপরে মানুষের অস্থি পোড়ালেন| এই ভাবে তিনি পূজার জায়গা পুরোপুরি নিশ্চিহ্ন করে জেরুশালেমে ফিরে গেলেন|

2 Chronicles 34:4
লোকরা তাঁর আদেশে বালদেবের বেদী ও ধুপধূনো দেবার উঁচু বেদীগুলি ভেঙে ফেলেন| মূর্ত্তি ও প্রতিকৃতিগুলো ভেঙে গুঁড়ো করার পর তিনি সেই ধূলো বালদেবের মৃত উপাসকদের কবরে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলেন|

তাই আমি তোমাদের সতর্ক করে দিচ্ছি| এমন দিন আসছে য়েদিন লোকে এই জায়গাকে তোফত বা বেনহিন্নোমের উপত্যকা বলে আর ডাকবে না| তারা একে গণহত্যার উপত্যকা বলে ডাকবে| তারা এরকম একটি নামকরণ করবে কারণ তারা তোফতে মৃতদেহ কবর দেবে যতক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত আর কোন মৃতদেহ কবর দেওয়ার জায়গা না থাকে|

Ezekiel 37:1
প্রভুর পরাক্রম আমার উপর এল আর তা আমাকে বহন করে শহরের বাইরে নিয়ে গিয়ে উপত্যকার মাঝখানে এনে দাঁড় করাল| সেই উপত্যকা মৃতের অস্থিতে পূর্ণ ছিল|

প্রভু এই কথাগুলো বলেছেন: “আমি অবশ্যই মোযাবের লোকদের তাদের বহু দণ্ডার্হ অপরাধের জন্য শাস্তি দেব| কেন? কারণ মোয়াব ইদোমের রাজার হাড়গুলোকে পুড়িয়ে চুন করে দিয়েছিল|
