তখন শিষ্যরা যীশুর কাছে এসে তাঁকে জাগিয়ে তুলে বললেন, ‘গুরু! গুরু! আমরা য়ে সত্যিই ডুবতে বসেছি৷তখন যীশু উঠে ঝোড়ো বাতাস ও তুফানকে ধমক দিলেন৷ সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ঝড় ও তুফান থেমে গেল, আর সব কিছু শান্ত হোল৷
