Deuteronomy 26:8
তখন প্রভু তাঁর মহান ক্ষমতা ও শক্তি এবং নানা চিহ্ন ও অদ্ভূত লক্ষণ দ্বারা আমাদের মিশর থেকে বের করে নিয়ে এলেন| তিনি বিস্মযকর কাজ দেখালেন|

তখন আমি ফরৌণকে সাহসী করে তুলব যাতে সে তোমাদের তাড়া করে| কিন্তু শেষ পর্য়ন্ত আমি ফরৌণ ও তার সেনাদের পরাজিত করব| এটা আমার সম্মান বাড়াবে| এবং মিশরের লোকরা তখন জানতে পারবে য়ে আমিই প্রভু|” ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা ঈশ্বরের কথামতোই কাজ করল|

Exodus 13:16
এরই চিহ্ন হিসাবে তোমাদের হাতে সুতো বাঁধ! এবং দুই চোখের মাঝখানে তিলক| যাতে তোমরা মনে রাখতে পার য়ে প্রভু তাঁর পরাক্রম শক্তি প্রযোগ করে আমাদের মিশর দেশ থেকে উদ্ধার করে এনেছেন|”

Exodus 13:9
“এই বিশ্রামের দিনটিকে কোনও বিশেষ দিনে হাতে বাঁধা সুতোর মতো তোমাদের মনে রাখা উচিত্‌|মনে রাখবে দুই চোখের মাঝখানে কপালে লাগানো তিলকের মতো| এই ছুটির দিনটি তোমাদের প্রভুর শিক্ষামালাকে মনে রাখতে সাহায্য করবে| এটা তোমাদের সাহায্য করবে প্রভুর মহান শক্তিকে মনে রাখতে যিনি তোমাদের মিশর থেকে মুক্ত করেচেন|

Exodus 6:1
প্রভু তখন মোশিকে বললেন, “ফরৌণের এখন আমি কি অবস্থা করব তা তুমি দেখতে পাবে| আমি তার বিরুদ্ধে আমার মহান ক্ষমতা ব্যবহার করব এবং সে আমার লোকদের চলে য়েতে বাধ্য করবে| সে য়ে শুধু আমার লোকদের ছেড়ে দেবে তা নয়, সে তার দেশ থেকে তাদের জোর করে পাঠিয়ে দেবে|”

Psalm 86:13
ঈশ্বর আপনি আমার জন্য কত মহান ভালোবাসা প্রদর্শন করেছেন এবং মৃত্যুর হাত থেকে আমায় রক্ষা করেছেন|

Exodus 13:18
তাই ঈশ্বর তাদের সূফ সাগরের দিকবর্তী মরুভূমির মধ্যে দিয়ে নিয়ে এসেছিলেন| মিশর ত্যাগ করার সময় ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা য়ুদ্ধের পোশাকে নিজেদের সজ্জিত করল|
