“প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন সেই দেশে তোমরা শীঘ্রই প্রবেশ করবে| সেই দেশ অধিগ্রহণ করার পর তোমরা সেখানে বাস করবে|

“প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, যখন তোমাদের নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে সেই দেশে নিয়ে যাবেন, য়ে দেশে তোমরা অধিগ্রহণের জন্য প্রবেশ করছো, তখন প্রভু তোমাদের সামনে অনেক জাতিকে দূর করে দেবেন - য়েমন হিত্তীয়, গির্গানীয, ইমোরীয়, কনানীয়, পরিষীয়, হিব্বীয় এবং যিবূষীয় তোমাদের থেকে অনেক বড় এবং অনেক শক্তিশালী সাতটি জাতি|
Deuteronomy 13:1
“কোন ভাববাদী বা স্বপ্নদর্শক, য়ে স্বপ্ন ব্যাখ্যা করে, তোমাদের কাছে এসে কোনো চিহ্ন বা অলৌকিক কিছু দেখাতে পারে|
Deuteronomy 13:9
না! তোমরা অবশ্যই সেই ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করবে| তোমরা অবশ্যই তাকে পাথর মেরে হত্যা করবে| তুমিই হবে প্রথম ব্যক্তি য়ে পাথর তুলবে এবং তার দিকে ছুঁড়ে মারবে|
Deuteronomy 17:14
“প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন তোমরা সেই দেশে প্রবেশ করবে| তোমরা সেই দেশ অধিগ্রহণ করে সেখানে বাস করার পর তোমরা বলতে পার, ‘আমাদের চারিদিকের অন্যান্য জাতির মতো আমাদের শাসন করার জন্যও একজন রাজা থাকা উচিত্|’
Deuteronomy 18:9
“প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন সেই দেশে তোমরা যখন আসবে, তখন সেখানে অন্যান্য জাতির লোকরা য়ে সকল সাংঘাতিক কাজ করে সেগুলো তোমরা শিখো না|
