হিষ্কিয়ই জেরুশালেমের গীহোন ঝর্ণার উত্‌স মুখের স্রোত আটকে তার গতিপথ দায়ূদ নগরীর পশ্চিম প্রান্তে পরিবর্তিত করেছিলেন| তাঁর সমস্ত কাজেই হিষ্কিয় সফলতা লাভ করেন|
