সকাল হতেই প্রধান যাজকরা, বয়স্ক ইহুদী নেতারা, ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকরা ও সমস্ত মহাসভার লোকেরা শলাপরামর্শ করলেন৷ তাঁরা যীশুকে বেঁধে পীলাতের কাছে পাঠালেন এবং তাঁর হাতে তুলে দিলেন৷
