וַיַּ֧עַל an va-YA-al מַלְאַךְ angel mahl-AK יְהוָ֛ה of yeh-VA מִן the meen הַגִּלְגָּ֖ל Lord ha-ɡeel-ɡAHL אֶל came el הַבֹּכִ֑ים up ha-boh-HEEM וַיֹּאמֶר֩ from va-yoh-MER אַֽעֲלֶ֨ה Gilgal ah-uh-LEH אֶתְכֶ֜ם to et-HEM מִמִּצְרַ֗יִם Bochim, mee-meets-RA-yeem וָֽאָבִ֤יא and va-ah-VEE אֶתְכֶם֙ said, et-HEM אֶל I el הָאָ֗רֶץ made ha-AH-rets אֲשֶׁ֤ר you uh-SHER נִשְׁבַּ֙עְתִּי֙ to neesh-BA-TEE לַאֲבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם go la-uh-VOH-tay-HEM וָֽאֹמַ֕ר up va-oh-MAHR לֹֽא loh אָפֵ֧ר out ah-FARE בְּרִיתִ֛י of beh-ree-TEE אִתְּכֶ֖ם Egypt, ee-teh-HEM לְעוֹלָֽם׃ and leh-oh-LAHM -
וְאַתֶּ֗ם ye veh-ah-TEM לֹֽא shall loh תִכְרְת֤וּ make teek-reh-TOO בְרִית֙ no veh-REET לְיֽוֹשְׁבֵי֙ league leh-yoh-sheh-VAY הָאָ֣רֶץ with ha-AH-rets הַזֹּ֔את the ha-ZOTE מִזְבְּחֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם inhabitants meez-beh-hoh-tay-HEM תִּתֹּצ֑וּן of tee-toh-TSOON וְלֹֽא this veh-LOH שְׁמַעְתֶּ֥ם land; sheh-ma-TEM בְּקוֹלִ֖י ye beh-koh-LEE מַה shall ma זֹּ֥את throw zote עֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃ down uh-see-TEM -
וְגַ֣ם I veh-ɡAHM אָמַ֔רְתִּי also ah-MAHR-tee לֹֽא said, loh אֲגָרֵ֥שׁ I uh-ɡa-RAYSH אוֹתָ֖ם will oh-TAHM מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם not mee-peh-nay-HEM וְהָי֤וּ drive veh-ha-YOO לָכֶם֙ them la-HEM לְצִדִּ֔ים out leh-tsee-DEEM וֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם vay-LOH-hay-HEM יִֽהְי֥וּ from yee-heh-YOO לָכֶ֖ם before la-HEM לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃ you; leh-moh-KAYSH -
וַיְהִ֗י it vai-HEE כְּדַבֵּ֞ר came keh-da-BARE מַלְאַ֤ךְ to mahl-AK יְהוָה֙ pass, yeh-VA אֶת when et הַדְּבָרִ֣ים the ha-deh-va-REEM הָאֵ֔לֶּה angel ha-A-leh אֶֽל of el כָּל the kahl בְּנֵ֖י Lord beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל spake yees-ra-ALE וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ va-yees-OO הָעָ֛ם these ha-AM אֶת words et קוֹלָ֖ם unto koh-LAHM וַיִּבְכּֽוּ׃ all va-yeev-KOO -
וַֽיִּקְרְא֛וּ they va-yeek-reh-OO שֵֽׁם called shame הַמָּק֥וֹם the ha-ma-KOME הַה֖וּא name ha-HOO בֹּכִ֑ים of boh-HEEM וַיִּזְבְּחוּ that va-yeez-beh-HOO שָׁ֖ם place shahm לַֽיהוָֽה׃ Bochim: LAI-VA -
וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח when vai-sha-LAHK יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ Joshua yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אֶת had et הָעָ֑ם let ha-AM וַיֵּֽלְכ֧וּ va-yay-leh-HOO בְנֵֽי the veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל people yees-ra-ALE אִ֥ישׁ go, eesh לְנַֽחֲלָת֖וֹ the leh-na-huh-la-TOH לָרֶ֥שֶׁת children la-REH-shet אֶת of et הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Israel ha-AH-rets -
וַיַּֽעַבְד֤וּ the va-ya-av-DOO הָעָם֙ people ha-AM אֶת served et יְהוָ֔ה yeh-VA כֹּ֖ל the kole יְמֵ֣י Lord yeh-MAY יְהוֹשֻׁ֑עַ all yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah וְכֹ֣ל׀ the veh-HOLE יְמֵ֣י days yeh-MAY הַזְּקֵנִ֗ים of ha-zeh-kay-NEEM אֲשֶׁ֨ר Joshua, uh-SHER הֶֽאֱרִ֤יכוּ and heh-ay-REE-hoo יָמִים֙ all ya-MEEM אַֽחֲרֵ֣י the ah-huh-RAY יְהוֹשׁ֔וּעַ days yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אֲשֶׁ֣ר of uh-SHER רָא֗וּ the ra-OO אֵ֣ת elders ate כָּל that kahl מַֽעֲשֵׂ֤ה outlived ma-uh-SAY יְהוָה֙ yeh-VA הַגָּד֔וֹל ha-ɡa-DOLE אֲשֶׁ֥ר Joshua, uh-SHER עָשָׂ֖ה who ah-SA לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ had leh-yees-ra-ALE -
וַיָּ֛מָת Joshua va-YA-mote יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ the yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah בִּן son been נ֖וּן of noon עֶ֣בֶד Nun, EH-ved יְהוָ֑ה the yeh-VA בֶּן servant ben מֵאָ֥ה of may-AH וָעֶ֖שֶׂר the va-EH-ser שָׁנִֽים׃ Lord, sha-NEEM -
וַיִּקְבְּר֤וּ they va-yeek-beh-ROO אוֹתוֹ֙ buried oh-TOH בִּגְב֣וּל him beeɡ-VOOL נַֽחֲלָת֔וֹ in na-huh-la-TOH בְּתִמְנַת the beh-teem-NAHT חֶ֖רֶס border HEH-res בְּהַ֣ר of beh-HAHR אֶפְרָ֑יִם his ef-RA-yeem מִצְּפ֖וֹן inheritance mee-tseh-FONE לְהַר in leh-HAHR גָּֽעַשׁ׃ Timnath-heres, ɡA-ash -
וְגַם֙ also veh-ɡAHM כָּל all kahl הַדּ֣וֹר that HA-dore הַה֔וּא generation ha-HOO נֶֽאֶסְפ֖וּ were neh-es-FOO אֶל gathered el אֲבוֹתָ֑יו unto uh-voh-TAV וַיָּקָם֩ their va-ya-KAHM דּ֨וֹר fathers: dore אַחֵ֜ר and ah-HARE אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם there ah-huh-ray-HEM אֲשֶׁ֤ר arose uh-SHER לֹא another loh יָֽדְעוּ֙ generation ya-deh-OO אֶת after et יְהוָ֔ה them, yeh-VA וְגַם֙ which veh-ɡAHM אֶת knew et הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה not ha-ma-uh-SEH אֲשֶׁ֥ר uh-SHER עָשָׂ֖ה the ah-SA לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Lord, leh-yees-ra-ALE -
וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֧וּ the va-ya-uh-SOO בְנֵֽי children veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of yees-ra-ALE אֶת Israel et הָרַ֖ע did ha-RA בְּעֵינֵ֣י beh-ay-NAY יְהוָ֑ה evil yeh-VA וַיַּֽעַבְד֖וּ in va-ya-av-DOO אֶת the et הַבְּעָלִֽים׃ sight ha-beh-ah-LEEM -
וַיַּֽעַזְב֞וּ they va-ya-az-VOO אֶת forsook et יְהוָ֣ה׀ yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֣י the ay-loh-HAY אֲבוֹתָ֗ם Lord uh-voh-TAHM הַמּוֹצִ֣יא God ha-moh-TSEE אוֹתָם֮ of oh-TAHM מֵאֶ֣רֶץ their may-EH-rets מִצְרַיִם֒ fathers, meets-ra-YEEM וַיֵּֽלְכ֞וּ which va-yay-leh-HOO אַֽחֲרֵ֣י׀ brought ah-huh-RAY אֱלֹהִ֣ים them ay-loh-HEEM אֲחֵרִ֗ים out uh-hay-REEM מֵֽאֱלֹהֵ֤י may-ay-loh-HAY הָֽעַמִּים֙ of ha-ah-MEEM אֲשֶׁר֙ the uh-SHER סְבִיב֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם land seh-vee-VOH-tay-HEM וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּ of va-yee-sheh-ta-huh-VOO לָהֶ֑ם Egypt, la-HEM וַיַּכְעִ֖סוּ and va-yahk-EE-soo אֶת followed et יְהוָֽה׃ yeh-VA -
וַיַּֽעַזְב֖וּ they va-ya-az-VOO אֶת forsook et יְהוָ֑ה yeh-VA וַיַּֽעַבְד֥וּ the va-ya-av-DOO לַבַּ֖עַל Lord, la-BA-al וְלָֽעַשְׁתָּרֽוֹת׃ and veh-LA-ash-ta-ROTE -
וַיִּֽחַר the va-YEE-hahr אַ֤ף anger af יְהוָה֙ of yeh-VA בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the beh-yees-ra-ALE וַֽיִּתְּנֵם֙ Lord va-yee-teh-NAME בְּיַד was beh-YAHD שֹׁסִ֔ים hot shoh-SEEM וַיָּשֹׁ֖סּוּ against va-ya-SHOH-soo אוֹתָ֑ם Israel, oh-TAHM וַֽיִּמְכְּרֵ֞ם and va-yeem-keh-RAME בְּיַ֤ד he beh-YAHD אֽוֹיְבֵיהֶם֙ delivered oy-vay-HEM מִסָּבִ֔יב them mee-sa-VEEV וְלֹֽא into veh-LOH יָכְל֣וּ the yoke-LOO ע֔וֹד hands ode לַֽעֲמֹ֖ד of la-uh-MODE לִפְנֵ֥י spoilers leef-NAY אֽוֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃ that OY-vay-HEM -

וַיָּ֥קֶם the va-YA-kem יְהוָ֖ה Lord yeh-VA שֹֽׁפְטִ֑ים raised shoh-feh-TEEM וַיּ֣וֹשִׁיע֔וּם up VA-yoh-shee-OOM מִיַּ֖ד judges, mee-YAHD שֹֽׁסֵיהֶֽם׃ which SHOH-say-HEM -

וְהָיָ֣ה׀ it veh-ha-YA בְּמ֣וֹת came beh-MOTE הַשּׁוֹפֵ֗ט to ha-shoh-FATE יָשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ pass, ya-SHOO-VOO וְהִשְׁחִ֣יתוּ when veh-heesh-HEE-too מֵֽאֲבוֹתָ֔ם the may-uh-voh-TAHM לָלֶ֗כֶת judge la-LEH-het אַֽחֲרֵי֙ was ah-huh-RAY אֱלֹהִ֣ים dead, ay-loh-HEEM אֲחֵרִ֔ים that uh-hay-REEM לְעָבְדָ֖ם they leh-ove-DAHM וּלְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוֹ֣ת returned, oo-leh-heesh-ta-huh-OTE לָהֶ֑ם and la-HEM לֹ֤א corrupted loh הִפִּ֙ילוּ֙ themselves hee-PEE-LOO מִמַּ֣עַלְלֵיהֶ֔ם more mee-MA-al-lay-HEM וּמִדַּרְכָּ֖ם than oo-mee-dahr-KAHM הַקָּשָֽׁה׃ their ha-ka-SHA -
וַיִּֽחַר the va-YEE-hahr אַ֥ף anger af יְהוָ֖ה of yeh-VA בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the beh-yees-ra-ALE וַיֹּ֗אמֶר Lord va-YOH-mer יַעַן֩ was ya-AN אֲשֶׁ֨ר hot uh-SHER עָֽבְר֜וּ against ah-veh-ROO הַגּ֣וֹי Israel; HA-ɡoy הַזֶּ֗ה and ha-ZEH אֶת he et בְּרִיתִי֙ said, beh-ree-TEE אֲשֶׁ֣ר Because uh-SHER צִוִּ֣יתִי that tsee-WEE-tee אֶת this et אֲבוֹתָ֔ם people uh-voh-TAHM וְלֹ֥א hath veh-LOH שָֽׁמְע֖וּ transgressed sha-meh-OO לְקוֹלִֽי׃ leh-koh-LEE -
גַּם also ɡahm אֲנִי֙ will uh-NEE לֹ֣א not loh אוֹסִ֔יף henceforth oh-SEEF לְהוֹרִ֥ישׁ drive leh-hoh-REESH אִ֖ישׁ out eesh מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם any mee-peh-nay-HEM מִן from meen הַגּוֹיִ֛ם before ha-ɡoh-YEEM אֲשֶׁר them uh-SHER עָזַ֥ב of ah-ZAHV יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ the yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah וַיָּמֹֽת׃ nations va-ya-MOTE -
לְמַ֛עַן through leh-MA-an נַסּ֥וֹת them NA-sote בָּ֖ם I bahm אֶת may et יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל prove yees-ra-ALE הֲשֹֽׁמְרִ֣ים huh-shoh-meh-REEM הֵם֩ Israel, hame אֶת whether et דֶּ֨רֶךְ they DEH-rek יְהוָ֜ה will yeh-VA לָלֶ֣כֶת keep la-LEH-het בָּ֗ם bahm כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר the ka-uh-SHER שָֽׁמְר֥וּ way sha-meh-ROO אֲבוֹתָ֖ם of uh-voh-TAHM אִם the eem לֹֽא׃ Lord loh -
וַיַּנַּ֤ח the va-ya-NAHK יְהוָה֙ Lord yeh-VA אֶת left et הַגּוֹיִ֣ם ha-ɡoh-YEEM הָאֵ֔לֶּה those ha-A-leh לְבִלְתִּ֥י nations, leh-veel-TEE הֽוֹרִישָׁ֖ם without hoh-ree-SHAHM מַהֵ֑ר driving ma-HARE וְלֹ֥א them veh-LOH נְתָנָ֖ם out neh-ta-NAHM בְּיַד hastily; beh-YAHD יְהוֹשֻֽׁעַ׃ neither yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah
