প্রভু জানতেন য়ে সদোমের অধিবাসীরা মহাপাপী|
| But the men | וְאַנְשֵׁ֣י | wĕʾanšê | veh-an-SHAY |
| of Sodom | סְדֹ֔ם | sĕdōm | seh-DOME |
| wicked were | רָעִ֖ים | rāʿîm | ra-EEM |
| and sinners | וְחַטָּאִ֑ים | wĕḥaṭṭāʾîm | veh-ha-ta-EEM |
| before the Lord | לַֽיהוָ֖ה | layhwâ | lai-VA |
