অরামীয়রা বহুবার ইস্রায়েলে যুদ্ধ করতে সেনা-বাহিনী পাঠিয়েছিল| এই সব সেনারা এখানকার লোকদের এীতদাস করেও নিয়ে গিয়েছে| একবার তারা ইস্রায়েল থেকে একটা বাচচা মেয়েকে তুলে নিয়ে যায়| কালএমে এই ছোট মেয়েটি নামানের স্ত্রীর এক দাসীতে পরিণত হয়|
