সূর্যের এক প্রকারের ঔজ্জ্বল্য, চাঁদের আর এক ধরণের, আবার নক্ষত্রদের অন্য ধরণের৷ একটা নক্ষত্র থেকে অন্য নক্ষত্রের ঔজ্জ্বল্য ভিন্ন৷
