আমার ইচ্ছা য়ে তোমরা সকলে বিশেষ বিশেষ ভাষায় কথা বলার ক্ষমতা পাও; কিন্তু আমার আরো বেশী ইচ্ছা এই তোমরা য়েন ভাববাণী বলতে পার৷ য়ে ব্যক্তি বিশেষ ভাষায় কথা বলে কিন্তু মণ্ডলীকে গড়ে তোলার জন্য তার অর্থ বুঝিয়ে দেয় না, তার থেকে য়ে ভাববাণী বলে সেই বরং বড়৷

I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now I would have you all speak with tongues, but rather that ye should prophesy: and greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
