இரண்டாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது அக்கினியால் எரிகிறபெரிய மலைபோன்றதொன்று சமுத்திரத்திலே போடப்பட்டது. அதினால் சமுத்திரத்தில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு இரத்தமாயிற்று.

இதோ, பூமியை எல்லாம் கெடுக்கிற கேடான பர்வதமே, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, என் கையை உனக்கு விரோதமாக நீட்டி, உன்னைக் கன்மலைகளிலிருந்து உருட்டி, உன்னை எரிந்துபோன, பர்வதமாக்கிப்போடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

இதோ, என் கையிலிருக்கிற கோலினால் நதியில் இருக்கிற தண்ணீர் மேல் அடிப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது அது இரத்தமாய் மாறி,

எவனாகிலும் இந்த மலையைப் பார்த்து: நீ பெயர்ந்து, சமுத்திரத்திலே தள்ளுண்டுபோ என்று சொல்லி, தான் சொன்னபடியே நடக்கும் என்று தன் இருதயத்தில் சந்தேகப்படாமல் விசுவாசித்தால், அவன் சொன்னபடியே ஆகும் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

முதலாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது இரத்தங்கலந்த கல்மழையும் அக்கினியும் உண்டாகி, பூமியிலே கொட்டப்பட்டது; அதினால் மரங்களில் மூன்றிலொருபங்கு வெந்துபோயிற்று, பசும்புல்லெல்லாம் எரிந்துபோயிற்று.

ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி எத்தப்பட்டு ஒரு விசேஷத்தைச் சொன்னானாகில், அப்படிக்கொத்த தீர்க்கதரிசியைக் கர்த்தராகிய நானே எத்தப்படப்பண்ணினேன்; நான் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக என் கையை நீட்டி, அவனை இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனத்தின் நடுவில் இராதபடிக்கு அழிப்பேன்.

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் எனக்குக் காண்பித்ததாவது: இதோ, அக்கினியாலே நியாயம் விசாரிப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் ஏற்பட்டார்; அது மகா ஆழியைப் பட்சித்தது, அதில் ஒரு பங்கைப் பட்சித்துத் தீர்ந்தது.

அவர்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொல்லிவருகிற நாட்களிலே மழைபெய்யாதபடிக்கு வானத்தை அடைக்க அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரமுண்டு; அவர்கள் தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றவும், தங்களுக்கு வேண்டும்போதெல்லாம் பூமியைச்சகலவித வாதைகளாலும் வாதிக்கவும் அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரமுண்டு.

இரண்டாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதைச் சமுத்திரத்திலே ஊற்றினான்; உடனே அது செத்தவனுடைய இரத்தம்போலாயிற்று; சமுத்திரத்திலுள்ள பிராணிகள் யாவும் மாண்டுபோயின.
