எரேமியா 49:14
நீங்கள் கூடிக்கொண்டு, அதற்கு விரோதமாக வந்து யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறதற்கு எழும்புங்கள் என்று சொல்ல, ஜாதிகளிடத்தில் ஸ்தானாபதியை அனுப்புகிற செய்தியைக் கர்த்தரிடத்திலே கேள்விப்பட்டேன்.

அப்பொழுது அவன் நான் நின்ற இடத்திற்கு வந்தான்; அவன் வரும்போது நான் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்து முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தேன்; அவன் என்னை நோக்கி: மனிதனே கவனி; இந்தத் தரிசனம் முடிவுகாலத்திற்குரியது என்றான்.

எனவே மனிதனைப்போன்று தோன்றிய காபிரியேல் தேவதூதன், என்னிடம் வந்தான். நான் மிகவும் பயந்து தரையில் விழுந்தேன். ஆனால் காபிரியேல் என்னிடம், “மனிதனே, இந்த தரிசனமானது முடிவு காலத்தைக் குறித்தது” என்றான்.
