And
it
came
to
pass,
וַיְהִ֖יwayhîvai-HEE
journeyed
they
as
בְּנָסְעָ֣םbĕnosʿāmbeh-nose-AM
from
the
east,
מִקֶּ֑דֶםmiqqedemmee-KEH-dem
found
they
that
וַֽיִּמְצְא֥וּwayyimṣĕʾûva-yeem-tseh-OO
a
plain
בִקְעָ֛הbiqʿâveek-AH
in
the
land
בְּאֶ֥רֶץbĕʾereṣbeh-EH-rets
Shinar;
of
שִׁנְעָ֖רšinʿārsheen-AR
and
they
dwelt
וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּwayyēšĕbûva-YAY-sheh-voo
there.
שָֽׁם׃šāmshahm
