பிற்பாடு பாவநிவாரண பலிக்கான வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களை ராஜாவுக்கும் சபையாருக்கு முன்பாகக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; அவைகள்மேல் அவர்கள் தங்கள் கைகளை வைத்தார்கள்.

பின்னர் ஆசாரியர்கள் ஆண் ஆட்டுக் கடாக்களை அரசனுக்கு முன்பு கொண்டு வந்தனர். ஜனங்களும் கூடினார்கள். இவை பாவப் பரிகாரப் பலிக்குரியவை. எனவே ஆசாரியர்கள் தம் கைகளை அவற்றின் தலையில் வைத்துவிட்டு கொன்றனர். ஆசாரியர்கள் அவற்றின் இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின் மேல் தெளித்து பாவப்பரிகாரம் செய்தனர். அவர்கள் இவ்வாறு செய்ததால் தேவன் இஸ்ரவேலர்களது பாவங்களை மன்னித்துவிட்டார். அரசன் அந்த தகன பலிகளும் பாவப்பரிகாரப் பலிகளும் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என்றான்.
