పదునాలుగవ దినమందును వారు నెమ్మదిపొంది విందుచేసికొనుచు సంతో షముగా నుండిరి.

రాజు చేసిన తీర్మానమును చట్టమును నెరవేరు కాలము వచ్చినప్పుడు అదారు అను పండ్రెండవ నెల పదమూడవ దినమున యూదులను జయింపగలుగుదుమని వారి పగవారు నిశ్చయించుకొనిన దినము ననే యూదులు తమ పగవారిమీద అధికారము నొందినట్లు అగుపడెను.

సీవాను అను మూడవ నెలలో ఇరువది మూడవ దిన మందు రాజుయొక్క వ్రాతగాండ్రు పిలువబడిరి; మొర్దెకై ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారమంతయు యూదులకును, హిందూ దేశము మొదలుకొని కూషుదేశమువరకు వ్యాపించియున్న నూట ఇరువది యేడు సంస్థానములలోనున్న అధిపతులకును అధికారులకును, ఆయా సంస్థానములకును దాని దాని వ్రాతనుబట్టియు దాని దాని భాషనుబట్టియు తాకీదులు వ్రాయబడెను.

షూషనునందున్న యూదులు ఆ మాసమందు పదమూడవ దినమందును పదునాలుగవ దిన మందును కూడుకొని పదునైదవ దినమందు నెమ్మదిపొంది విందుచేసికొనుచు సంతోషముగా నుండిరి.
