హదదెజరునకు సేవకులగు రాజు లందరు తాము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యెదుట నిలువలేకుండ కొట్టబడియుండుట చూచి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో సమా ధానపడి వారికి లోబడిరి. సిరియనులు భయాక్రాంతులై అమ్మోనీయులకు ఇక సహాయముచేయుట మానిరి.
