షేబదేశపు రాణి సొలొమోనును గూర్చిన ప్రసిద్ధిని వినినప్పుడు గూఢమైన ప్రశ్నలచేత సొలొమోనును శోధింపవలెనని కోరి, మిక్కిలి గొప్ప పరివారమును వెంట బెట్టుకొని, గంధవర్గములను విస్తారము బంగారమును రత్న ములను ఒంటెలమీద ఎక్కించుకొని యెరూషలేమునకు వచ్చెను. ఆమె సొలొమోనునొద్దకు వచ్చి తన మనస్సులోని విషయములన్నిటిని గురించి అతనితో మాటలాడెను.
