நான் படுத்து நித்திரை செய்தேன்; விழித்துக்கொண்டேன்; கர்த்தர் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறார்.

நீ நடக்கும்போது அது உனக்கு வழிகாட்டும்; நீ படுக்கும்போது அது உன்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; நீ விழிக்கும்போது அது உன்னோடே சம்பாஷிக்கும்.

சமாதானத்தோடே படுத்துக்கொண்டு நித்திரைசெய்வேன்; கர்த்தாவே, நீர் ஒருவரே என்னைச் சுகமாய்த் தங்கப்பண்ணுகிறீர்.

தேசத்தில் சமாதானம் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; தத்தளிக்கப்பண்ணுவார் இல்லாமல் படுத்துக்கொள்வீர்கள்; துஷ்ட மிருகங்களைத் தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; பட்டயம் உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உலாவுவதில்லை.

இதற்காக நான் விழித்துப்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; என் நித்திரை எனக்கு இன்பமாயிருந்தது.

பயப்படுத்துவாரில்லாமல் நித்திரை செய்வீர், அநேகர் முகத்தை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுவார்கள்.
