அவர் ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிடுகையில், தம்முடைய சீஷர்கள் படவில் ஏறி, அக்கரையில் பெத்சாயிதாவுக்கு எதிராக, தமக்கு முன்னே போகும்படி அவர்களைத் துரிதப்படுத்தினார்.

பிறகு இயேசு சீஷர்களிடம் படகில் ஏறுமாறு சொன்னார். கடலின் அக்கரையில் உள்ள பெத்சாயிதாவுக்குப் போகும்படிக் கூறினார். தான் பிறகு வருவதாக இயேசு கூறியனுப்பினார். இயேசு அங்கே இருந்து அந்த மக்களைத் தம் வீடுகளுக்குச் செல்லுமாறு சொன்னார்.

இயேசு கூட்டத்தினரை அனுப்பிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்பொழுது தம் சீடரையும் உடனே படகேறித் தமக்கு முன் அக்கரையிலுள்ள பெத்சாய்தாவுக்குச் செல்லுமாறு அவர் கட்டாயப் படுத்தினார்.
