அப்பொழுது மோசே ஆரோனை நோக்கி: என்னிடத்தில் சேருகிறவர்களால் நான் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டு, சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் முன்பாக நான் மகிமைப்படுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொன்னது இதுதான் என்றான்; ஆரோன் பேசாமலிருந்தான்.

பிறகு மோசே ஆரோனிடம், “‘என் அருகிலே வருகிற ஆசாரியர்கள் என்னை மதிக்க வேண்டும். நான் அவர்களுக்கும் எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் பரிசுத்தமாக விளங்க வேண்டும்’ என்று கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார்” என்றான். ஆகையால் ஆரோன் தன் மகன்கள் மரணமடைந்ததை குறித்து எதுவும் சொல்லவில்லை.
