இணை வசனம்

அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: இரண்டு ஜாதிகள் உன் கர்ப்பத்தில் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; இரண்டுவித ஜனங்கள் உன் வயிற்றிலிருந்து பிரியும், அவர்களில் ஒரு ஜனத்தார் மற்ற ஜனத்தாரைப்பார்க்கிலும் பலத்திருப்பார்கள், மூத்தவன் இளையவனைச் சேவிப்பான் என்றார்.

அவர்கள் ஈசாக்குக்கும் ரெபெக்காளுக்கும் மனநோவாயிருந்தார்கள்.

இதை அவன் தன் தகப்பனுக்கும் தன் சகோதரருக்கும் சொன்னபோது, அவன் தகப்பன் அவனைப் பார்த்து: நீ கண்ட இந்தச் சொப்பனம் என்ன? நானும் உன் தாயாரும் உன் சகோதரரும் தரைமட்டும் குனிந்து உன்னை வணங்க வருவோமோ? என்று அவனைக் கடிந்துகொண்டான்.

சுயம்பாகிகளின் தலைவனையோ தூக்கிப்போட்டான். யோசேப்பு அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்ன அர்த்தத்தின்படியே சம்பவித்தது.

இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் வாலிபரை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, கர்த்தருக்குச் சமாதானபலிகளாகக் காளைகளைப் பலியிட்டார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது மோசே இரத்தத்தை எடுத்து, ஜனங்களின்மேல் தெளித்து, இந்த வார்த்தைகள் யாவையுங்குறித்து கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தம் இதுவே என்றான்.
