ராஜா ராஜஸ்திரீயாகிய எஸ்தர் முற்றத்தில் நிற்கிறதைக் கண்டபோது, அவளுக்கு அவன் கண்களில் தயை கிடைத்ததினால், ராஜா தன் கையிலிருக்கிற பொற்செங்கோலை எஸ்தரிடத்திற்கு நீட்டினான்; அப்பொழுது எஸ்தர் கிட்டவந்து செங்கோலின் நுனியைத் தொட்டாள்.

ராஜா ராணியாகிய எஸ்தர் முற்றத்தில் நிற்கிறதைக் கண்டபோது, அவளுக்கு அவனுடைய கண்களில் தயவு கிடைத்ததால், ராஜா தன்னுடைய கையிலிருக்கிற பொற் செங்கோலை எஸ்தரிடம் நீட்டினான்; அப்பொழுது எஸ்தர் அருகே வந்து செங்கோலின் நுனியைத் தொட்டாள்.

பிறகு, அரசன் எஸ்தர் அரசி முற்றத்தில் நிற்பதைப் பார்த்தான். அவன் அவளைப் பார்த்தபோது மகிழ்ச்சிடைந்தான். அதனால் அவன் அவளை நோக்கி தனது கையிலுள்ள செங்கோலை நீட்டினான். எனவே, எஸ்தர் அந்த அறைக்குள் சென்று அரசன் அருகில் போனாள். பிறகு அவள் அரசனது பொற் செங்கோலின் முனையைத் தொட்டாள்.
