நீங்கள் அறியாத வேறே தேவர்களைச் சேவிக்கப்போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று தங்கள் பட்டணத்தின் குடிகளை ஏவினார்கள் என்கிற செய்தியைக் கேள்விப்படும்போது,

உங்கள் தேசத்தைச் சார்ந்த சில தீயவர்கள் அவர்களது நகர ஜனங்களை தீயச் செயல்களைச் செய்யுமாறு தூண்டினார்கள் என்பதாகும். அவர்கள் அவர்களது நகர ஜனங்களிடம் ‘அந்நிய தெய்வங்களை தொழுது கொண்டு சேவை செய்வோம் வாருங்கள்!’ என்று அழைத்த செயலே அதுவாகும்.
