தானியேல் 2:44
அந்த ராஜாக்களின் நாட்களிலே, பரலோகத்தின் தேவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் அழியாத ஒரு ராஜ்யத்தை எழும்பப்பண்ணுவார்; அந்த ராஜ்யம் வேறே ஜனத்துக்கு விடப்படுவதில்லை; ஒரு கல் கையில்பெயர்க்கப்படாமல் மலையிலிருந்து பெயர்ந்து, உருண்டுவந்து, இரும்பையும் வெண்கலத்தையும் களிமண்னையும் வெண்கலத்தையும் பொன்னையும் நொறுக்கினதை நீர் கண்டீரே, அப்படியே அது அந்த ராஜ்யங்களையெல்லாம் நொறுக்கி, நிர்மூலமாக்கி, தானோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.

விசுவாசிகளாகிய எஜமான்களை உடையவர்கள், தங்களுடைய எஜமான்கள் சகோதரர்களாக இருப்பதினால் அவர்களை அசட்டைபண்ணாமல், நல்ல வேலையின் பலனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் விசுவாசிகளும், பிரியமுள்ளவர்களுமாக இருப்பதினால் அவர்களுக்கு அதிகமாக ஊழியம் செய்யுங்கள்; இந்தப்படியே போதித்துப் புத்திசொல்லு.

சில அடிமைகளின் எஜமானர்கள் விசுவாசம் உடையவர்களாய் இருப்பார்கள். அதனால் அவர்கள் இருவரும் சகோதரர்களாய் இருப்பார்கள். எனினும் அந்த அடிமைகள் தங்கள் மரியாதையைக் குறைத்துக்கொள்ளக் கூடாது. அவர்கள் மேலும் சிறப்பான முறையில் தங்கள் வேலையைத் தங்கள் எஜமானர்களுக்காகச் செய்யவேண்டும். ஏனென்றால் தாம் நேசிக்கும் விசுவாசிகளுக்கு அந்த அடிமைகள் உதவிக்கொண்டும் பயன் விளைவித்துக்கொண்டும் இருக்கிறார்கள். இக்காரியங்களைச் செய்ய நீ அவர்களுக்கு இதனைப் போதிக்கவும் உற்சாகப்படுத்தவும் வேண்டும்.
