அவன் மகா சம்பத்தோடே தன் தேசத்துக்குத் திரும்பி, தன் இருதயத்தைப் பரிசுத்த உடன்படிக்கைக்கு விரோதமாக வைத்து, அதற்கானதைச் செய்து, தன் தேசத்துக்குத் திரும்பிப் போவான்.

“வடபகுதி அரசன் பெருஞ்செல்வத்தோடு தனது சொந்த நாட்டிற்குத் திரும்பிப் போவான். பிறகு அவன் பரிசுத்தமான உடன்படிக்கைக்கு எதிராக தீமைகளைச் செய்ய முடிவுச் செய்வான். அவன் தனது திட்டப்படி செய்தபிறகு, தனது சொந்த நாட்டிற்குத் திரும்பிப் போவான்.

வடநாட்டு மன்னன் மிகுந்த கொள்ளைப் பொருள்களோடு தன் நாட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப் போவான். அவனுடைய உள்ளம் புனிதமான உடன்படிக்கைக்கு எதிராக இருக்கும். தான் நினைத்ததைச் செய்துமுடித்தபின் அவன் தன் நாட்டுக்குத் திரும்புவான்.⒫

Daniel 8:24
அவனுடைய வல்லமை பெருகும்; ஆனாலும் அவனுடைய சுயபலத்தினாலல்ல, அவன் அதிசயமானவிதமாக அழிம்புண்டாக்கி, அநுகூலம் பெற்றுக்கிரியைசெய்து, பலவான்களையும் பரிசுத்த ஜனங்களையும் அழிப்பான்.
