அப்பொழுது பர்னபா என்பவன் அவனைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, அப்போஸ்தலரிடத்தில் அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், வழியிலே அவன் கர்த்தரைக் கண்ட விதத்தையும், அவர் அவனுடனே பேசினதையும், தமஸ்குவில் அவன் இயேசுவின் நாமத்தினாலே தைரியமாய்ப் பிரசங்கித்ததையும் அவர்களுக்கு விவரித்துச் சொன்னான்.

ஆனால் பர்னபா சவுலை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டு அவனை அப்போஸ்தலரிடம் அழைத்து வந்தான். பர்னபா அப்போஸ்தலருக்கு, தமஸ்குவுக்குச் செல்லும் பாதையில் சவுல் கர்த்தரை தரிசித்ததைச் சொன்னான். கர்த்தர் சவுலிடம் பேசிய வகையை பர்னபா அப்போஸ்தலருக்கு விளக்கினான். பின் அவன் அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்கு இயேசுவுக்காக பயமின்றி தமஸ்குவில் மக்களுக்கு சவுல் போதித்ததையும் சொன்னான்.
