ஒருவன் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை நியாயப்படி அநுசரித்தால், நியாயப்பிரமாணம் நல்லதென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.

சிறைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்ட மனிதர்களையும், மிருகங்களையும், கொள்ளையிட்ட பொருள்களையும், எரிகோவின் அருகிலுள்ள யோர்தானுக்கு இக்கரையில் மோவாபின் சமவெளிகளிலுள்ள முகாமிலிருந்த மோசேயினிடத்திற்கும், ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரினிடமும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களாகிய சபையாரிடமும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

தாங்கள் கைப்பற்றிய அனைத்தையும் மோசேயிடம், ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசார் மற்றும் மற்ற ஜனங்களிடத்திலும் கொண்டு வந்தனர். அங்கே அவர்கள் கவர்ந்த அனைத்துப் பொருட்களையும் முகாமுக்குள் கொண்டு வந்தனர். மோவாபிலுள்ள யோர்தான் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் அவர்கள் கூடாரம் அமைத்திருந்தனர். அந்த இடம் யோர்தானைக் கடந்து கிழக்குப் பகுதியில் எரிகோவின் எதிரில் இருந்தது.
