ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਛੱਡਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਠਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੀ ਗਰਜਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੜ੍ਹੇ ਰੁਕ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 135:6

ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 19:5
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣ ਕਰੋ। ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ। ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 9:33
ਮੂਸਾ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕੇ। ਅਤੇ ਗਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਗੜ੍ਹੇਮਾਰ ਰੁਕ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਹਟ ਗਈ।
