2 Kings 7:9
ତା'ପରେ ଏହି କୁଷ୍ଠୀମାନେ ପରସ୍ପର ମଧିଅରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭଲ କରୁନାହୁଁ, ଆଜି ସୁସମ୍ବାଦର ଦିନ, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନୀରବ ରହୁଛୁ। ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଭାତ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବିଳମ୍ବ କରିବା ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦଣ୍ତିତ ହବୋ। ତବେେ ଆସ ଏ ସମ୍ବାଦ ରାଜଗୃହ ରେ ଦବୋ।

| not | אֲנַ֣חְנוּ | ʾănaḥnû | uh-NAHK-noo |
| well: | עֹשִׂ֗ים | ʿōśîm | oh-SEEM |
| this | הַיּ֤וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| day | הַזֶּה֙ | hazzeh | ha-ZEH |
| day a is | יוֹם | yôm | yome |
| of good tidings, | בְּשֹׂרָ֣ה | bĕśōrâ | beh-soh-RA |
| we and | ה֔וּא | hûʾ | hoo |
| hold our peace: | וַֽאֲנַ֣חְנוּ | waʾănaḥnû | va-uh-NAHK-noo |
| tarry we if | מַחְשִׁ֗ים | maḥšîm | mahk-SHEEM |
| till | וְחִכִּ֛ינוּ | wĕḥikkînû | veh-hee-KEE-noo |
| the morning | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| light, | א֥וֹר | ʾôr | ore |
| mischief some | הַבֹּ֖קֶר | habbōqer | ha-BOH-ker |
| will come upon | וּמְצָאָ֣נוּ | ûmĕṣāʾānû | oo-meh-tsa-AH-noo |
| now us: | עָו֑וֹן | ʿāwôn | ah-VONE |
| therefore come, | וְעַתָּה֙ | wĕʿattāh | veh-ah-TA |
| go may we that | לְכ֣וּ | lĕkû | leh-HOO |
| and tell | וְנָבֹ֔אָה | wĕnābōʾâ | veh-na-VOH-ah |
| the king's | וְנַגִּ֖ידָה | wĕnaggîdâ | veh-na-ɡEE-da |
| household. | בֵּ֥ית | bêt | bate |
| הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
