യെശയ്യാ 61:4
അവർ പുരാതനശൂന്യങ്ങളെ പണികയും പൂർവ്വന്മാരുടെ നിർജ്ജനസ്ഥലങ്ങളെ നന്നാക്കുകയും തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിർജ്ജനമായിരുന്ന ശൂന്യനഗരങ്ങളെ കേടുപോക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

| the old | חָרְב֣וֹת | ḥorbôt | hore-VOTE |
| wastes, | עוֹלָ֔ם | ʿôlām | oh-LAHM |
| they shall raise up | שֹׁמְמ֥וֹת | šōmĕmôt | shoh-meh-MOTE |
| the former | רִֽאשֹׁנִ֖ים | riʾšōnîm | ree-shoh-NEEM |
| desolations, | יְקוֹמֵ֑מוּ | yĕqômēmû | yeh-koh-MAY-moo |
| and they shall repair | וְחִדְּשׁוּ֙ | wĕḥiddĕšû | veh-hee-deh-SHOO |
| the waste | עָ֣רֵי | ʿārê | AH-ray |
| cities, | חֹ֔רֶב | ḥōreb | HOH-rev |
| the desolations | שֹׁמְמ֖וֹת | šōmĕmôt | shoh-meh-MOTE |
| of many | דּ֥וֹר | dôr | dore |
| generations. | וָדֽוֹר׃ | wādôr | va-DORE |
