क्या तू ने यहूदा से बिलकुल हाथ उठा लिया? क्या तू सिय्योन से घिन करता है? नहीं, तू ने क्यों हम को ऐसा मारा है कि हम चंगे हो ही नहीं सकते? हम शान्ति की बाट जोहते रहे, तौभी कुछ कल्याण नहीं हुआ; और यद्यपि हम अच्छे हो जाने की आशा करते रहे, तौभी घबराना ही पड़ा है।
