Leviticus 19:8
જે કોઈ તે ખાય તેણે સજા ભોગવવી પડશે, કારણ, તે દોષિત છે. તેણે યહોવાને ચઢાવેલું પવિત્ર અર્પણ ભ્રષ્ટ કર્યુ છે, તેથી તેનો લોકોએ સામાંજીક બહિષ્કાર કરવો.

| of the Lord: | חִלֵּ֑ל | ḥillēl | hee-LALE |
| and that | וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה | wĕnikrĕtâ | veh-neek-reh-TA |
| soul | הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ | hannepeš | ha-NEH-fesh |
| off cut be shall | הַהִ֖וא | hahiw | ha-HEEV |
