Ezekiel 31:12
বিদেশীরা পৃথিবীর ভয়ঙ্কর লোকরা তা কেটে তার শাখাগুলি পাহাড়ে ও উপত্যকায় ছড়িয়ে দিল| তার ভাঙ্গা ডালগুলি সেই দেশের মধ্য দিয়ে প্রবাহিত নদী ভাসিযে নিয়ে গেল| সেই গাছের তলায় আর ছায়া না থাকায় লোকে তাকে পরিত্যাগ করল|

Isaiah 34:5
প্রভু বললেন, “এসব ঘটবে যখন আকাশে আমার তরবারি রক্ত দ্বারা পরিতৃপ্ত হবে|”দেখ! প্রভুর তরবারি ইদোমকে কেটে দ্বিখণ্ডিত করবে| প্রভু এইসব লোকেদের ওপর তাঁর বিচার জারি করেছেন এবং তাদের অবশ্যই মৃত্যু হবে|
